Detox from the Glow

The blue screen is not Light.

It only borrows Light and feeds it back without warmth.

In that glow, bottles become time machines. Pills become mute buttons.

Not because we are weak—because the body wants relief, now.

Numbing is a form of love attempted by a nervous system that ran out of options.

The illusion says: “Feel nothing and you’ll be safe.”

But nothingness is expensive. It charges interest in purpose, relationships, and mornings.

There’s a quieter truth:

You are not broken. You are overwhelmed.

And overwhelm can be met—gently, precisely.

A small return protocol (3-6-9):

  1. Name (3): Whisper three words for what hurts. (e.g., fear, shame, tired.)

  2. Water (6): Drink a full glass. Six slow sips.

  3. Breath (9): Inhale 3, hold 6, exhale 9—three cycles.

  4. Sun: Open the blinds. Let actual Light touch your eyes.

  5. Square meter: Clean one small square of the room. Order invites breath.

  6. Movement: Ten slow squats or a one-minute walk. Wake the animal kindly.

  7. Truth: Send one honest sentence to someone who can hold it. Connection ends the loop.

The screen isn’t the enemy; it’s a misplaced altar.

Place the altar back inside your chest.

Let Light come from you again.

Tonight, choose one step.

Tomorrow, choose one more.

The glow will change color when you do.
